New Patient FAQs

New Patients

The Neal Clinic is currently accepting new patients, and because we treat patients in pain, we keep appointments open for new chiropractic patients every day.
  • How much will it cost?
There is never a fee for a consultation with Dr. McMillon. If, during your consultation, Dr. McMillon determines that your case can benefit from chiropractic care, then we will do an examination. The total cost of care will depend on the case obviously, but we will explain the charges and what your insurance coverage is before we begin any procedures. No surprises.
  • Does the Neal Clinic accept my insurance?
This question is more complex than it seems. Dr. McMillon and the Neal Clinic are in Network with most health insurances; however, each network has multiple plans and policies that have different coverages for examinations, chiropractic adjustments, physical therapies, and massage. We owe it to you to give you a precise answer to this question. When you arrive for your appointment, we will need a copy of your most recent insurance card, and ID to properly verify your benefits. To verify your benefits before your visit, please email a copy of the front and back of your insurance card and a copy of your driver’s license, and a good number to contact you to [email protected] and we will contact you to discuss your coverage and schedule an appointment for you.
  • What to expect on my first visit?
During your first visit you will fill out a Health History questionnaire and provide some details about the reason for your visit and areas of injury. These forms can be completed in the office, or you may download and submit them ahead of time from our website under ‘Patient forms’. After completing your intake paperwork, you will sit down with Dr. McMillon for a consultation to discuss your issues, depending on your situation Dr. McMillon will make his recommendation for treatment, or he may refer you out for other testing or imaging, or if Dr. McMillon believes your case is medical or surgical, he will refer you to the proper physician to get checked out.
  • How soon can I get a consultation with the doctor?
We keep appointments open for new chiropractic patients each day. You can usually get an appointment to see Dr. McMillon within 24 hours, and often the same day if we’ve had a cancellation.
  • What if I’m not sure the problem is a chiropractic problem?
Neither of us knows if I can help your problem, but when you come in for a consultation you can show me exactly where it hurts and tell me the specifics of how it started. Then I'll tell you if yours is a chiropractic case or if you should get a medical consult or have other testing done.
  • Do I need a referral to see a Chiropractor?
No. Chiropractors are considered primary health care providers, and do not require a referral to be seen.
